Grain Tanks are custom built for Haybuster Bale Processors which includes the 2650, 2655, 2660, and 2665 with a 23 bushel capacity. Grain tanks are designed for gravity flow to the auger with an adjustable tent inside to change the flow of grain to auger and to keep the weight of the grain off the auger. This helps prevent the grain from packing inside. There is a steel lid that can be opened from the ground using an attached door lever.
Other highlights include an adjustable flow control to the hydraulic motor to change the speed of the auger to get the desired pounds of grain out. The hydraulic drive motor is attached with a 50 roller chain and one bearing on the auger. There are 2 plexiglass windows in the slope of the tank that allow for a reference point to see how much grain is inside of the tank. There is a door located on the back of the tank that allows for easy access to the auger for cleaning purposes.
Grain Tanks will feed corn, wheat, soybeans, dry distiller pellets and granular, milo, and range cubes. Grain tanks also come with an auger extension chute for bunk feeding.
